In Conway's oldest neighborhood, six live oaks grow inside the street layout itself, with curbing that swings out around them and traffic circling the tree at Seventh Avenue and Beaty Street from all four directions. More stand in the roadway on Sixth Avenue and Elm Street. Any hauler collecting waste in Horry County also has to hold a Solid Waste Authority license. Where a given load actually goes is the hauler's call after pickup, not something you arrange.
