Renting a dumpster in Morristown

Morristown is the only incorporated city in Hamblen County, which keeps one question simple: inside the city line the municipal code governs, outside it you are dealing with the county. The city sits in the ridge and valley country of upper East Tennessee, between Clinch Mountain and the Smokies, with Cherokee Lake on the Holston at its edge. Expect sloped ground, and check the pitch of the spot you have in mind before delivery day.

The housing splits along clear lines. Around Hillcrest, Tigertown, City Center and Rolling Hills most homes were built between 1940 and 1969, they share the street with apartment buildings, and the blocks hold a mixture of owners and renters, so plan on tighter driveways and less off-street room. Alpha Heights is the contrast: mostly owner-occupied homes built from 1970 onward at rural lot densities, where there is usually space to keep a container well clear of the street.
